Katelyn’s Kitchen is more than a blog, it’s about my family.
When I first had to go gluten-free, finding safe and tasty options at the grocery store wasn’t easy. Back then, there weren’t nearly as many products on the shelves as there are now. My mom spent a lot of time figuring out how to adapt recipes so I could still enjoy the same meals as the rest of the family—everything from birthday cakes to holiday dinners. Watching her creatively convert recipes is what first inspired my love of cooking and experimenting in the kitchen.

“Instead of going out to dinner, buy good food. Cooking at home shows such affection. In a bad economy, it’s more important to make yourself feel good.”
